Can you help our parish provide much needed meals to Our Daily Bread (serving lunch to 500-700 people/day) and My Sister’s Place Women’s Center (serving 3 meals a day to over 175 women and children.)
All Catholic Charities’ soup kitchen outreaches have closed their centers to volunteers AND to their meal guests due to COVID-19. They are in serious need of “carry-out” meals they can put in appropriate containers to provide to the homeless/poor men, women, and children of Baltimore City.
Here’s how YOU can help:
Sandwich (meat and cheese, tuna fish salad, etc.)
Piece of soft fruit or small cup of fruit or applesauce
Small snack (optional)
Dessert (cookies, cake, etc.)
Bottle of water or small bottle of juice
Please place all items in a flat-bottom brown paper bag
The recipe we use each month for ODB is easy, inexpensive and tasty! Please consider making one or more casseroles. You can find the recipe Here.
Casserole pans will be available in the Lower Level Parish Hall Kitchen, or you can purchase them at the grocery store.
Please bring your bagged meals to one of the refrigerators, and your cooked casseroles to the freezer, in the Lower Level Parish Hall Kitchen one day next week and/or the following week! We will be taking meals downtown several times during the next weeks.
The hours that the Parish Hall Kitchen will be open for at least the next several weeks (while the SJCC office is closed, except for essential business) are as follows: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
If you have any questions, please email our St. Vincent de Paul office at email@example.com or leave a telephone message at their number: 443-920-9114. Their email and telephone will be checked regularly throughout the week.
Thank you in advance for caring and helping our Baltimore City neighbors in this very difficult time for them.
Carroll County Food Sunday will be closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please log on to the CCFS or this site for information about when we will be open again. Thank you and Be Safe.
