Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Is Faith Formation Required?
A: No, our program is formed to accompany parents as they raise their children in the Faith. Our program supplements Mass and the Sacraments (i.e., Confession, Eucharist, and Confirmation). While we encourage attendance at all the offered sessions and extra opportunities, they are not required.
Q: What is the Safe Environment training provided at Saint Joseph?
A: Besides our yearly programming, the Archdiocese of Baltimore requires a portion of our faith formation to provide a safe environment for our young people. This is disseminated through a series of lessons chosen to educate our youth on how to identify safe and unsafe environments. Learn More here.
