The Feast of Saint Lucy
 December 13th

One of the earliest Christian martyrs, St. Lucy – also known as St. Lucia – was killed by the Romans in 304 because of her religious beliefs. In Sweden, her feast day is celebrated by making “Lucy Bread.”

You can honor St. Lucy by making cinnamon rolls or Lucy Bread. You can find a recipe for Lucy Bread here.
